Corn and ethanol

Wonder why food and gas prices are still going up?? Corn being used for ethanol additives to gasoline. 40% of the US corn crop is used for ethanol production.   Imagine if that land was used for food production?   Both gasoline and food would be cheaper.   Remember, ethanol additives are done all in the name of Global Warming, err Climate Change, err Climate Disruption...
